LOS implementation & tuning
Configuration, migration and clean-up for Encompass, Empower, MeridianLink and Byte environments: field mapping, business rules, milestone logic, role permissions and template libraries.
Verano Lending Technology helps mortgage lenders, credit unions and servicers configure the systems their teams live in every day — the origination platform, the document pipeline, the audit trail — so files move without the manual re-keying.
Verano was founded in 2016 by Princess Harms, a former mortgage operations manager who spent eleven years watching good teams lose hours to bad configuration. We are not a software vendor and we do not resell licences. We are the people you bring in when the platform you already own is not doing what the brochure promised.
Our work sits between the technology team and the production floor: mapping how a file actually travels from application to post-close, removing the duplicate data entry, tightening the conditions logic, and documenting all of it so the knowledge does not leave with one person.
Most clients start with one of these and expand. Each engagement is scoped, priced and delivered separately — you are never locked into a bundle.

We remove the copy-paste. Automated condition sets, e-sign packages, disclosure timing checks and vendor callbacks that fire from the file rather than from someone's memory.
Pre-fund and post-close checklists, exception tracking, investor-delivery packets and reporting your auditors can actually read — built on the data you already capture.
Role-based sessions for processors, underwriters, closers and support staff, plus written runbooks so the twelfth new hire learns the same way as the first.
Monthly pipeline analytics, turn-time dashboards and a standing block of consulting hours for the questions that appear between projects.
Send us a short description of where files are getting stuck. We will tell you honestly whether it is a configuration problem, a process problem or a staffing problem — even when the answer means less work for us.
Figures below reflect Verano client engagements completed between January 2017 and December 2025, self-reported by clients in post-project reviews.
We ask what your pipeline looks like, which platform you run and where the complaints come from. You get an honest read on scope before any paperwork.
We shadow the file journey, interview each role, pull turn-time data and return a written findings memo with prioritised recommendations.
Configuration, automation and documentation delivered in a sandbox first, reviewed with your team, then promoted with a rollback plan.
Role-based sessions, recorded walkthroughs and runbooks so the change survives staff turnover.
Included with every build: we stay available for adjustments while the new process settles.
Reviews collected at project close. Client names are abbreviated at their request; full references are available on request during procurement.
“We had lived with a broken conditions template for two years because nobody wanted to touch it. Verano rebuilt it in eleven days and documented every rule. Our processors stopped emailing the same document requests twice.”
“Princess ran the discovery herself and told us half of what we asked for was unnecessary. That single conversation saved our budget. The work that did happen came in on scope and on date.”
“The post-close audit packet they built is the first report our investor reviewers have never sent back with questions. Nine months later it still runs untouched.”
Our office sits on Elkview Drive in Hialeah, ten minutes from the lending corridor along West 49th Street. We work on site across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, and remotely for clients throughout Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Texas.
Most turn-time dashboards start the clock at submission rather than at intake, which hides the two days a file spends waiting for a complete application.
Template sprawl is the most common finding in our reviews. Here is the consolidation exercise we run in week one.
A runbook nobody opens is not documentation. What we changed after watching three clients lose their configuration knowledge in a single quarter.
Book a 30-minute discovery call with Princess Harms. We will review your current stack, your bottlenecks and the fastest three improvements you can make this quarter.
